What You’ll Be Doing

You will be joining an award winning Technology Architecture team in CIBC Technology, Infrastructure and Innovation as a Director, Technology Architecture.  You will be responsible for technology strategy, technology portfolio management and solution architecture, focused on information security related aspects of architecture  to support multiple lines of business.  As an architect you are responsible for crafting technology solutions that adhere to architectural principles and standards while meeting the key business objectives. 

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote

Who You Are

• You can demonstrate experience in: Working with business and technology partners to architect solutions for the prevention of fraud and other financial crimes, in addition to multi-domain security expertise with experience around implementing security best practices and controls. Having an Enterprise Architecture Background would be an asset; preferably in the financial or regulatory sector and knowledge of integration and architecture practices focusing on Security technologies.

• You are a Certified Professional. Rounding out your experience with a familiarity with TOGAF and/or Zachman frameworks and methodologies and SOA Architecture. It is also an asset if you have Security certification (CISSP).
