Systems Engineer Apprenticeship (Apprentissage)

Location: Paris, France

Duration: 1-2 Years

The Systems Engineer is responsible for establishing technical relationships with businesses on behalf of Fortinet and work on CyberSecurity projects based on our Security Fabric portfolio.

The Systems Engineer Apprentice will join our Systems Engineer (SE) Team to support our customer and partner to understand our Security Fabric proposition. Supported by some Senior SE, this role will be able to develop technical skills around several Cybersecurity Pillars like NextGen Firewall, Cloud Security, DevSecOps and other.

Key role Responsibilities include:

• Member of the SE team in Paris,
• Pre-sales Technical support to internal team and customers/partners:     
• Respond to technical questions about Fortinet Products from Partners or Customers,
• Run Fortinet Solution technical demo,
• Articulating the technology and demonstrating differentiated value over the time with colleagues’ support.
• Being able to learn new technologies with our NSE Academy support
• Develop and manage the French SE Lab 
• Support Inside SEs and IRAMS to put in place labs for customer and Partners POC
• Support Inside SEs and IRAMS on simple and time consuming technical questions  
• Update and Create specific technical documents for the SE and sales for France
• Manage Different customer calls (end of the internship) with the Inside SEs

Required Skills and Technical Experience:

• Master or Engineering school (or equivalent) with Network/System or Cyber Specialization
• Knowledge about Networking (Switch, Routing, Firewall), Operating System and Internet Usage
• Any theoretical or practical knowledge about CyberSecurity (NGFW,Mail GW, Web Application Protection, Endpoint Security) is a plus
• A self-motivated, very curious, and highly technical person
