Required Skills and Experience

•12+ years of experience in SAP application and HANA DB.
· Conception, implementation, and support of complex SAP system landscapes (SAP Basis Operations)

· Performance tuning, Memory management configuration of the SAP Application & HANA Database

· Plan and implement migrations and upgrades as well as continuous adoption of SAP landscape to actual requirements (Life-Cycle-Management)

· Ensure service level agreements (Monitoring, support, performance optimization)

· Contact person and consultant at the interface to SAP application development, cyber security, identity & access management, and hosting team

· Participation and possible lead on projects within SAP operations, such as migrations and upgrades

· Participation in on call duty in a Follow-the-Sun support modelRequirements

· Several years of professional experience in SAP Basis administration including databases (SAP NetWeaver, S4/HANA, HANA 2.0 Database, Sybase ASE) on Linux platform

· Experience in setting up, administering and operating hybrid system environments (on-premise/cloud) as well as automating operations

· Knowledge of the architecture and technical design of SAP systems and related processes (application development, operating systems, virtualization, cloud)

· SAP BTP experience would be a plus

· Hands-on SAP experience and knowledge of security concepts related to S4HANA, BW4, BPC, HANA database, Fiori, Concur, Ariba.

· Cross-functional understanding of the design, development, and support of these applications which are integrated with multiple other non-SAP products across the IT landscape.

· Understanding of SAP security and regulatory SOX requirements.

· Knowledge of software development lifecycle and controls critical to the processes and standards required for successful IT project implementations and subsequent audit testing.

· Ability to ensure compliance requirements are met while business and IT users have necessary access to perform their job responsibilities.

· Knowledge  of ever-changing digital landscape with ability to adapt and advance application infrastructure.

· Strong communication skills - verbal, written, listening and presentation.

· Desire and ability to work across several technologies and cross functional teams – must be a good collaborator.

· Quick learner with ability to work under limited supervision and seek assistance where necessary.
