Position Title: Data Privacy Assessor

Location: United Kingdom

Role Purpose:

A successful candidate will be part of the NCC Group privacy team and responsible for the day-to-day delivery of privacy assessments for our wide range of clients. 

  • Liaise with the Resource Management and Pre-Sales team during the sales cycle to assist in quantifying, pricing and assessing requirements for project delivery. 
  • Assist with sales proposals, bids and tenders for delivery of privacy services. 
  • You will conduct onsite and remote activities to advise, assess, analyse and report in line with the engagement project requirements. This will involve meeting client stakeholders, conduct of documentation reviews, reviewing solutions and systems as well as presenting information and advice to senior business partners. 
  • Translate the technical and non-technical findings from an assessment or exercise into relevant, actionable remediation road maps for customers. 
  • You will act as mentor to less experienced consultants and foster knowledge sharing throughout the delivery team

Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting: Investigate and troubleshoot issues relating to complex changes, working in partnership with other teams to guarantee the best possible outcomes for our customers. 

Collaboration: Work closely with other privacy, security and IT teams to ensure understanding of the customer privacy requirements and impacts on processes.  

Documentation: Maintain documentation of customer engagements, justification for assessments and to contribute to the organization's knowledge base. 

Continuous Learning: Keep up to data on privacy regulations and best practices through self-learning and training opportunities.  

What we are looking for in you:

  • Experience in delivering Data Protection Impact Assessments, supporting Data Subject Requests and data breaches along with researching and responding to privacy queries and implementation of privacy frameworks.  
  • A deep understanding of the GDPR, DPA 2018 and knowledge of other European or wider privacy legislation  
  • Privacy qualification such as CIPP/E 
  • Have the ability to deliver projects within time in budget and to a high level of customer satisfaction – exercising customer care at all times. 
  • Ability to successfully compile accurate reports within defined timescales. 
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to develop a rapport with customers and to engender long lasting trusted relationships. 
  • Experience in the role of DPO. 
  • Cyber security experience for example, in industry standards such as ISO 27001 Series, PCI DSS, NIST. 
  • Qualifications such as CISSP / CISM / ISO 27001 LA or LI / PCI DSS QSA would
