We’re looking for a system administrator who specialized in supporting DoD networks to help us operate and maintain DoD systems and networks. 

As a system administrator on our project, you’ll ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available and constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You’ll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management.  

Your system administrator expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning.

You Have: 

• Experience with operating and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Linux servers

• Knowledge of different layers of the technology stack, including network, application frameworks, database systems, and vendor solutions

• TS/SCI clearance

• HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience as a system administrator or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience as a system administrator

• DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III Certification, including Security +, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience as a network administrator or systems engineer

Clearance:  

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
