Job Summary

This role will use open source research as well as acquired datasets to hunt for systemic risks at scale (e.g., botnets, at scale CVE exploitation, ransomware networks). Then this role will partner with the appropriate teams across Comcast and the telco industry to identify remediation actions.

Job Description

Must Have Skills:

• Network threat hunting (e.g., SOCKs analysis, https header understanding)
• Experience in analytics platforms (e.g, Databricks, Snowflake)
• Experience with packet analysis tools (e.g., wireshark)
• Experience with technical briefings (e.g., threat reports)
• Understanding of cyber threat remediation techniques and processes (e.g., SOC ticketing)
• Understanding of scripting languages (e.g., python, SQL)

Years of experience

• 10+ years of experience
• 5 years of experience identifying cyber threats with live datasets
• 5 years of experience identifying at scale cyber threats (e.g., botnets, ransomware campaigns)
• 2 years of experience reporting on cyber threats (e.g., conferences, open publications)
