Job Description

- Respond professionally (verbally, in e-mail, or in ticketing system) to customer situations of a complex, non-routine nature requiring deviation from standard procedures.

- Interface with HR team for all new user and user transfer and termination events.

- Create new user accounts and respond to user transfer and termination events.

- Administer user accounts and access privileges in the organization's identity management system.

- Assist with management of changes to accounts, user access groups and entitlements and ownerships based on requests.

- Create and/or review data access reports to research service requests or issues.

- Facilitate access review and recertification process for all scoped resources.

- Perform independent research within business to resolve business issues and process improvements.

- Work in all phases of systems analysis and consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.

- Configure moderately complex application components (analysis, design, development and implementation of solutions) based on functional requirements.

- Participate in the development of roadmaps and strategy and execute on that strategy.

- Work with internal customers, business analysts, and application teams to understand access requirements.

- Maintain documentation for the IAM program.

- Provide training to new users on the IAM system.

- Update and maintain the IAM system according to changes in the organization's business needs.

Job Duties

- Managing user accounts and permissions in the identity and access management system.

- Granting or denying access to company resources based on user role and privileges.

- Participate in projects and production support operations focused on implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) integrations and Roles Based Access Control (RBAC) strategies and integrations.

- Responsible for reporting and presenting metrics and results to IAM Management team periodically.

- Creating and managing user groups in the identity and access management system.

- Enforcing company policies and procedures related to identity and access management.

- Monitoring user activity in the identity and access management system.

- Reporting on identity and access management system activity.

- Identifying and addressing identity and access management issues.

- Working with the IAM team to resolve identity and access management problems.

- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of identity and access management best practices.

- Documenting IAM processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

- At least two years of experience in identity and access management or a related field.

- Must have some hands-on integration and deployment experience with large scale mainframe environments.

- Excellent standards of documentation with a high level of expertise in service management reporting and strategic planning.

- Sound trouble-shooting and/or problem-solving techniques.

- Excellent communication and project administration skills.

- Strong analytical skills.

- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Familiarity with IAM concepts and best practices.

- Knowledge of IAM protocols such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID, Basic Authentication, etc.

- Proficient in using spreadsheets and word processing software.

- Familiarity with database concepts.

- P/IP, OSI model), operating system fundamentals (Windows, UNIX, mainframe), security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS) and application programming/scripting languages (Python, PowerShell 5.0, Shell).

- Kubernetes, Control plane experience is desired and lovable

- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Career Level - IC2

Perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity. React to potential problems using automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools -- escalating to management where appropriate. Participate in configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system. Responsible for support documentation as well.
