Job Description

Our infrastructure specialists are responsible for designing and implementing back-end services. They ensure reliability, security, and scalability for all platform layers within our solutions. Infrastructure teams provide expertise across virtualization, cloud services, storage solutions, cybersecurity, and scripting and automation.  

As a Security Architect at Endava you will be a customer-facing role encompassing all aspects of developing security project deliverables including assessment, solution development, and implementation oversight. Based on industry best practice, you will be expected to provide guidance and hands-on experience to teams in the design, deployment, and maintenance of security solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute security solution lifecycle strategy, design, implementation, and operations.
• Build a strong relationship with customers through presales and thought leadership activities.
• Work with Enterprise Architects and CISO office to be aligned with strategic vision.
• Ensure that security requirements are identified, represented, and met in all projects and initiatives.
• Provide advanced level skills and knowledge in the design and review of secure networks, applications, systems, infrastructure, cloud environments, and security systems.
• Participate, lead, and jointly deliver security evaluation reports on cloud, tooling, and any other solution providers.
• Establish requirements for security solutions by evaluating business strategies, and requirements, and aligning with appropriate security standards.
• Act as a change agent by providing recommendations for improvement and risk reduction by assessing clients on their enterprise and cloud security posture.
• Representing the company in a professional manner and building good relationships with clients to Endava’s benefit.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time dedicated experience in a senior security role focused on delivering at the enterprise level; in complex environments 
• 3+ years of experience in defining security standards and reference architectures used to guide technical resources in secure system implementation and configuration for enterprise systems and consumption of public cloud 
• Knowledge and understanding of the key differentials across the most popular cloud provider solutions and cloud orchestration tools (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, BOSH, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong expertise in the design and review of secure networks, applications, systems, infrastructure, environments, and security systems.
• Knowledge of virtualization, containers, service-mesh and enterprise service business.
• Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-prem-to-cloud transformations.
• Experience in designing, implementing and delivering security for cloud-native, distributed computing and architectural solutions with a principle of “Secure by Design”.
• Capacity to stay up to date with emerging security technologies and ability to evaluate these for Endava client environments.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; or equivalent combination of education/professional experience in a similar role.
• One or more high-level security certification technical security certifications (e.g. CCSP, CISSP, AWS Certified Solution Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert).
