Position Summary
Information Security Manager will be responsible for development and implementation of information security policies, standards, procedures. Consults on a variety of issues related to control standards and procedures, policy exceptions, and metrics. Facilitates and manages annual reviews and attestations of policies, standards and procedures. Ensures alignment across stakeholder groups for policies and standards, and policy exceptions within he EIS risk management framework. Demonstrates in depth knowledge of industry frameworks and will provide appropriate updates to designated management and assist in responding to audits as necessary. The Information Security Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Governance Program and Strategy.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Assists in development, implementing and supporting CVS Health's enterprise-wide Information Security policies, standards and procedures and maintain a communication plan to ensure policies and standards changes are known throughout all functional groups of the business. Demonstrates technical writing expertise to assist in development of security control procedures. Provides training, coaching and feedback on governance to all stakeholders. Support advisory services and maintenance for all Information Security Governance related documentation. Maintain an awareness of state and federal regulations/legislation and other governing requirements; provide guidance on the controls, and policies, standards and procedures necessary to protect sensitive data and achieve regulatory compliance. Partners with key stakeholders to maintain the policy and standard framework ongoing maintenance to ensure alignment with business, industry and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of information security or related experience
- Deep understanding of security controls and alignment to key regulations (NIST, ISO, HITRUST, HIPAA, PCI)
- Experience in large scale, diverse, or multi-national organizations, in-depth knowledge and experience in policies, standards and procedures as well as an understanding of information systems and Information Security Governance.
- Demonstrated communication, both written and verbal, to varying audiences with clarity and conciseness.
- Demonstrations exceptional interpersonal skills to build a strong partnership and program presence that aims to be industry leading.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of:
- Information security policies and procedures, risk management practices and principles
- Regulatory standards including NIST, SOX, SOC, HIPAA, PCI and HITRUST
- Privacy regulations as they relate to PII and PHI to understand security program interfaces with privacy risk
- GRC Tools such as Archer or ProcessUnity
- Process mapping and identification of process controls
- Industry assessments such as SOC1/2, HiTrust, NIST, CSF, ISO 27001/2 and PCI
- Cyber Security emerging and existing technology practices
- Cloud security architectures and best practices
Skill in:
- Program Management and strategy
- Project consultation and advising
- Verbal and written communication skills to all levels of organization, including senior leadership
- Preparing and presenting program information
Ability To:
- Take initiative
- Collaborate across many functions and encourage positive teamwork
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the enterprise
- Build strong relationships and influence positive outcomes

Education
Bachelor Degree (Preferred) or equivalent experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$97,335.00 - $201,900.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
