IT Internal Auditor (Supervisor Level)

Job Brief:

Responsible for executing internal audit engagements in the areas of IT, IS, Cybersecurity, Telecom network management. This will include evaluation and appraise the internal control activities to ensure it achieves the objective related to confidentiality, availability and integrity, this to be carried in accordance with accepted internal auditing standards such as IPPF, , COBIT, ISO27001, NIST, ISO22301, and others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Anticipate and identify engagements related information security, Cybersecurity and IT Systems.
• Develop audit Engagement scope and plan in accordance with the Internal Audit Director directions and approved plan from Audit committee.
• Prepare risk and control matrix for audit engagement, through understanding of relevant process, and develop the audit programs for test of controls.
• Design and implement adequate audit procedures to be used for test the controls efficiency and effectiveness in terms of design and implementation
• Execute and manage the audit engagement by performing field-work and following the planned audit program and procedure to conduced
• Organize and maintain all related records and documents (working paper files) needed to support audit observations and recommendations
• Prepare the SoF, draft report, and discuss it with audit mangers and  auditee and seek auditee feedback
• Prepare final audit report and discuss the observations with management and auditee and recommend corrective action to improve operations and reduce risks

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecom Engineering or any other related field.

Level of Experience:

Intermediate Experience in a related filed.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

• Good knowledge of Risk Management 
• Excellent command of computer skills (MS Office)
• Strong background in IT systems & controls
• Awareness of cybersecurity

Certifications & Licensure:

Essential

• A professional Audit related certification such as CISA, CISSP, ISO27001 LA/ ISO22301 LA
• Information Security related certification

Desirable:

• CIA
• CPA
• MBA

Tools & Systems:

Essential:

• A working knowledge of ERP/ORACLE
• Database.
• Good command of IT and various technical systems

 Desirable:

• Good command of analytical tools
