Senior Application Security Engineer (.NET) 

We’re expanding our application security team and are looking for a .NET specialist. You’ll focus on a subset of our products to understand them deeply and help development teams build products that are secure by design. 

What you will do: 

You’ll support product teams through activities such as: 

• Defining requirements for security features 

• Proactively identifying and controlling risks using techniques like threat modeling 

• Designing and implementing automated security tests 

• Performing manual security assessments including code reviews 

• Coordinating vulnerability response efforts 

Every day, you’ll be working with dev teams who are distributed around the world, so strong skills in written communication and programming are essential. You’ll have the support of your manager in prioritizing goals, and the autonomy to determine how best to accomplish tasks. 

We have a variety of architectures including desktop, mobile, and web clients using backends built as monoliths, distributed services, and serverless functions. Given our diverse landscape, we don’t expect you to know everything, but we’d like you to be open to learn anything. What you will Need: 

• 8-10 years of experience in cyber security engineering role. This MUST include a combination of at least 3+ years in an Application Security role AND 5+ years of experience in a combination of development and security roles 

• Backend development with classic .NET Framework and modern .NET. 

• Backend development experience with Java or Python is a bonus. 

• Frontend development with at least one JavaScript framework 

• Windows desktop app development 

• Test design – Unit tests and end-to-end tests both automated and manual 

• A proven history of turning SCA / SAST / DAST results into teachable moments 

• Application penetration testing experience is a bonus.
