The Endpoint Vulnerability Engineer is responsible for maintaining and securing computer and server systems within the Octapharma Organization.

Endpoint Vulnerability Engineer

 This is What You’ll Do: 

  • Managing the configuration for all Microsoft and Third-party patching in accordance of Octapharma policy and procedures.
  • Help Develop a Process for Third- party patching for automation of deployment.
  • Collaborate and meet with the Octapharma security team on proactive and reactive patching of workstations and servers.
  • Understanding patching methodologies and best practices to help streamline and automate for all sites within Octapharma.
  • Coordinate and develop processes for Endpoint Platform team with System architects and engineers.
  • Manage and provide reporting for status of deployed, pending and failed patches across the organization patches.
  • Document and Create work instructions for Local IT site personnel.
  • Third tier support for local sites when needed.
  • Able to work inside a ticketing system for service requests and incidents related to patching

 

This is What It Takes:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience with deploying patching for workstations, laptops and servers
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Local site Servers and Endpoint security.
  • Moderate knowledge of Active directory
  • Endpoint management systems both on Prem and Cloud are highly suggested
  • Be able to learn, train and comply with FDA and GxP environments across Octapharma.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with dealing with leadership for supported sites and executive management.
  • Perform root cause analysis for any patching related requests or Incidents
  • Demonstrated flexibility to changing priorities.
  • Will be required to work outside of normal business hours, primarily in the event of an emergency or implementation of new systems/upgrades, which will need to be done after hours.
  • Microsoft Intune, and or Ivanti Endpoint manager experience preferred.
