Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a broad range of levels to include Senior and Lead Level Electronic Warfare Self-Protection System Engineers to join the Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers engineering team located in Richardson, Texas.  The position will be an integral member of our MS&B portfolio of programs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to protect our electronic warfare systems from hostile threats.
  • Conduct threat assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Design and integrate self-protection measures into our electronic warfare systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams t
  • Ensure seamless integration of self-protection capabilities.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 5 or more years of related work experience
  • Experience in electronic warfare systems, with a focus on self-protection.
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic warfare principles, techniques, and technologies.
  • Familiarity with self-protection measures, including electronic countermeasures (ECM) and electronic support measures (ESM).

Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with military or defense organizations.
  • Certifications in electronic warfare or self-protection.
  • Experience with working with suppliers

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 4

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Level 5

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:  This position does not offer relocation.  The selected candidate will need to be located in the surrounding area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range (Senior Level 4): 128,350 – 173,650

Summary pay range (Lead Level 5): 153,850 -208,150
