About the teamAre you passionate about building secure applications? Do you thrive in collaborative environments where you can make a real impact? If so, then we want you on our team as an Application Security Engineer! In this critical role, you'll be the champion of security within our software development process. You'll identify and address vulnerabilities in our applications, ensuring they are built strong from the ground up.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Be the guardian of our applications: You'll conduct thorough security assessments to uncover weaknesses in our applications before they can be exploited.
• Partner for success: Collaboration is key! You'll work hand-in-hand with developers to integrate secure coding practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Write secure code like a pro: Your expertise in secure coding will be invaluable. You'll not only write secure code yourself, but also conduct code reviews to identify and address potential security issues in code written by others.
• Stay ahead of the curve: The world of cybersecurity is constantly evolving. You'll be responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest application security threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring our defenses are always prepared.

What You Need To Succeed:

• Experience in application security assessments and penetration testing.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with developers.
• Proficiency in scripting languages and security tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Bonus points if you have:
• Experience integrating security into the SDLC.
• Knowledge of specific industry security standards and compliance requirements.
