What you'll be doing
You’ll join our Access Quality Control team reporting to the Senior Director, Service Request Management. As a Senior Manager, Access Quality Controls Management you will own and support delivery of access provision validation to Governance and Control, internal and external auditors. You will be working with the Access Security Administrators, applications SMEs and Business LOB teams in supporting the control through key access validation review. You will be accountable to reinforce established controls that they are operationally effective, provide support on our key regulations with governance, LOB partners on time-sensitive requests for audit (walkthroughs, artifacts), inquires and clarifications. You will be engaged on key business initiatives, conduct ongoing reviews for process improvements and lead the team in following best practices.

How you'll succeed
Control, Risk, Governance management – Support controls and deliver on team’s regulatory/governance requirements with key focus on timeliness and quality. Ensure that access validation meets auditors, risk and compliance expectations. Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the control environment and key control processes. Understand RFI (Request for Information) during audit and control testing and lead the team to provide level of right information, accuracy, and adhere to strict timelines. Provide operational risk advice including proactive control to manage risk. Ensure senior management is kept apprised of the emerging risks by developing and recommending appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
People Management – Provide leadership and effective management of direct reports to influence employee commitment to the organization by setting appropriate context for assigned work, building team & individual capabilities, managing performance with fair and accurate feedback and creating a positive work environment.
Communication - Demonstrate clear, concise and influential written and verbal communication skills. Develop strong internal and external relationships through ongoing communication on progress of engagements and providing advice on risk, control and regulatory matters.
Analytical & Tech Savvy. You understand various tools (such as EGRC, MAP, ARS, ServiceNow). The knowledge of application Group provisioning such as COINS/ Transit/Profile/Operator is an asset.
Who you are
You can demonstrate 3+ years’ experience in regulatory work, compliance, controls, and/or audit function within the financial services industry. Extensive knowledge of risk management principles, practices, policies, and procedures including audit and business controls.
People leader You have 3+ years’ experience in people leadership role. You have experience coaching employees and driving successful team performance. You have experience developing and implementing strategic team goals.
You’re a certified professional. Preferably, you have professional certification/designation (e.g. CISA, CISSP)
