The Opportunity:

Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing infrastructure architect, you know how to take advantage of cloud capabilities. On our team of experienced professionals, you’ll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We’re looking for someone like you to help develop cloud threat intelligence infrastructure.

You’ll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS to design, develop, test, and deploy cloud solution components. You’ll have the chance to work within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal AWS labs, you’ll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our clients’ problems, and you’ll partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions. Whether modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or creating new ones from scratch, you’ll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud architecture design

• Experience with AWS SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS products

• Experience with S3, EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, EKS, SMTP, and networking, such as ALB or WAF

• Ability to serve as an AWS Subject Matter Expert (SME)

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Bachelor's degree

• AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with threat intelligence platforms (TIP), threat hunt, and STIX/TAXII feeds

• Experience with security tooling, such as SIEM, SOAR, or EDR

• Experience with ICAM solutions, such as Okta

• Secret clearance

• Master's degree

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or CISSP certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
