As an Information Security Analyst, you will work with the technical teams and the business in monitoring, auditing, securing, identifying, and remediating incidents within the Avenue Living’s business and portfolio. You will also work to implement protection systems, controls, and awareness across the different Avenue Living businesses with a focus on business application security.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Protect and monitor systems involving cloud hosted and internal applications.
  • Identify and remediate risk and cybersecurity threats related to business SaaS services and custom developed applications.
  • Performing regular monitoring and auditing of network, servers, endpoints, application, and cloud environments.
  • Identify, escalate, and remediate cybersecurity threats according to policies and procedures.
  • Conduct or assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and support cybersecurity infrastructure and software.
  • Assist in designing and implementing security policies and procedures.
  • Support the organization in defining and adhering to data security standards.
  • Focus on investigating and remediating specific cybersecurity problems.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

  • Minimum of 5 years of technical experience, a post-secondary degree, and/or relevant certifications.
  • 1-3 years of experience working as a senior technical resource or subject matter expert with documented achievements.
  • Experience with SaaS protection solutions, Azure cloud infrastructure, and code vulnerability scanning.
  • Experience in protecting and identifying vulnerabilities in custom developed applications including utilizing a secure software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with secure application development and principles.
  • Familiarity working with Microsoft and Check Point security tools.
  • Knowledge of networking, public cloud computing, and programming/scripting.
  • Currently holding or working towards cybersecurity, application security, and/or data privacy certifications, certifications may include:
    • Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
    • CompTIA Security+
    • CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)
    • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+)
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
    • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
    • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
    • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
