phia is seeking a Cyber All Source Threat Analyst who focuses on Eurasian threats to support intelligence functions, analytics, cyber investigations, and operations for a Federal customer. This on-site position is located in Chantilly, VA, and requires an active Top Secret clearance, with an active in-scope polygraph preferred.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct open-source research and analysis to develop assessments and reports with minimal guidance.
  • Provide insights into emerging cyber threats and tactics.
  • Collaborate with cyber experts to perform advanced research, analysis, and fusion of information from various sources, preparing multi-layered analyses to support projects.
  • Research and evaluate current and emerging best practices to mitigate cyber risks effectively.
  • Support intelligence functions, analytics, and cyber investigations and operations.
  • Engage in a variety of core analytical tasks or projects.
  • Conduct research and analysis at the operational or strategic level, communicating assessments through analytic intelligence products and oral briefings.
  • Perform threat analysis, identifying and describing threat actors, activities, platforms, and targets, assessing their presence, intent, and capabilities.
  •  Evaluate how environmental variables could affect known or emerging threats in a given domain.
  • Develop and implement methodologies for integrating diverse data sources, ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive analysis.
  • Provide contextual analysis of threats within broader strategic and operational frameworks.
  • Establish and maintain a standardized process for data collection, analysis, and dissemination to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Identify and prioritize intelligence gaps, developing frameworks to address these gaps effectively.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication across various disciplines and stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about emerging cyber threats and technologies, adapting analysis techniques and methodologies accordingly. 

Education + Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must have experience in the area of responsibility (AOR) in Eurasia
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Experience working with RMF and NIST 800-53
  • Experience working with cyber security tools
  • Experience with cyber awareness (e.g., phishing emails, cyber training)
  • 2+ years of experience in cyber investigations/intelligence, threat investigations/intelligence, and cyber threat management
  • Must be on-site for this role in Chantilly, VA
  • Some travel may be required based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred

  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
  • Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP)
  • Ability to apply indicators and characteristics of known threat variables to a defined targeting need
  • Experience utilizing analytic techniques and methodologies to advance investigative or collection actions
  • Experience in recommending new investigative or collection actions 
  • Prior experience evaluating, analyzing, and synthesizing large quantities of data and information from one or multiple sources into high-quality, fused targeting/intelligence products
  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
  • Eurasian language proficiency is a plus

Security Clearance Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Active Top Secret Clearance required with the ability to obtain SCI and CI Poly
