The Role at a Glance

Lincoln National Corporation seeks an IT Security-Access Validation Analyst in Radnor, PA. To facilitate and modernize overall process to ensure management review of access to Lincoln systems, applications, data centers, source code management tools, databases, privileged access, and system IDs. Manages Lincoln’s reactions to new and additional validation requests from auditors and management. Ensure proper day-to-day operation of Access Validation and Security Compliance. Partner with IT owners to determine access requirements for Lincoln applications, source code tools and database management systems as well as privileged access to various computing platforms. Gather access requirement information to formulate access listings for the applications, source code tools, and database management systems as well as privileged access to various computing platforms. Respond to, diagnose, and resolve problems during the access validation process. Include routine problem recognition, research, isolation, and resolution. Coordinate requests for revocation of access with Information Security and/or business areas. Provide customer service to internal customers, recognize what needs to be done to meet customer needs and demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to meet those needs. Communicate access validation requirements, processes, and respond to questions from Lincoln business, IT partners and management. Provide support and solutions to managers as required during validation process. Record accurate and pertinent information, for all validation processes, to ensure documentation tracker is consistently current. Determine the priority and scope of each request to balance workload. Report status of work effort to Information Security management and other business stakeholders and meet agreed to timeframes. Provide subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external. Interface with internal and external auditors to respond to requests with information or documentation and provide walk throughs of processes.

Requirements

 

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Information Risk Management, Cybersecurity or directly related IT field. Three (3) years of experience with IT infrastructure in the financial services industry, translating business requirements into the system, implementing change management, and ensuring best implementation strategy and solutions. Experience must include:

  • 3 years analysis and review of existing systems, applications, data centers, source code management tools, and databases to design new processes, reduce cost and increase efficiency. Ability to evaluate and configure products for optimal functionality and security.
  • 3 years identifying, creating, documenting, and implementing process improvements to convert manual processes to automated technical processes.
  • 3 years utilizing advanced Excel skills to create pivot tables and complex comparisons of large amount of data; to organize the data received through automating via scripts and macros, to improve processes.
  • 3 years administering Basic Active Directory.
  • 3 years change management and IT vendor management: obtaining and comparing vendor quotes, ensuring ticketing and reporting meet defined SLAs, conducting access validations.
  • 3 years in navigating medium to large companies, with complex IT infrastructure, working with multiple IT teams to operate according to SOP and continue best practices.
  • 3 years troubleshooting issues, conducting root cause analyses.
  • 3 years supporting audits for finance related audits (PCI, SOX, and/or SOC), receiving requests and responding by providing documentation regarding IT controls and/or processes.
  • 3 years recommending and implementing security controls for IT systems and devices to meet the desired outcome to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.
  • 3 years utilizing ServiceNow, including workflow using ticketing system, as well as leveraging CMDB and other integrated modules.

 

100% WFH.

Salary: $102,523/year to $143,500/year.

The pay range for this position is $102,523 to $143,500 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
