Software Engineer/ IDAM - Active TS/SCI with CI POLY

As a Software Development Engineer with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IDAM), you will leverage your expertise in both software development and IDAM to provide operational support and advanced engineering solutions for Identity Access Management, including provisioning, authentication, and access management for both cloud and on-premise environments.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Participating in Software Development: Engage in the full software development lifecycle, including design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing of IDAM solutions such as Radiant Logic and/or SailPoint.
• Supporting ABAC Application Development: Lead the development, integration, deployment, and maintenance of Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) applications. Design and build IT engineering solutions that aggregate attributes from authoritative sources, integrate with Virtual LDAP Directories, and interact with Web Services.
• Engineering and Development: Develop advanced engineering concepts and guide them through the development process to become final products, with a strong focus on coding and software development practices.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed programmatic and technical documentation to support software development and IDAM processes.
• System Enhancements: Implement system enhancements to improve IT enterprise performance, with a particular focus on software solutions that enhance IDAM capabilities.
• Requirement Analysis and Solution Design: Analyze customer requirements and specifications, and propose software solutions that meet standards, compliance, and operational needs.
• Task Management in JIRA: Manage and update development tasks, issues, and progress using JIRA.
• Version Control and CI/CD Integration: Utilize Git for version control and source code management and integrate code testing and deployment within CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless software releases.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI poly.
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work/military experience
• 5+ years of full-stack developer experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Javascript frameworks.
• Experience with Database technologies (Postgres, MySQL, etc.).
• Experience in application development and database integration.
• Experience in interacting with APIs to provide integrated solutions.
• Experience in containerizing applications.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience managing Linux based systems.
• Experience with bash scripting.
• Experience working across the full architecture for web-based applications.
• Experience working with Agile software development with Scrum.
• Experience deploying COTS and GOTS systems to customer-controlled deployment environments.
• Experience writing automating test code and scripts.
• Superior communication skills, both oral and written.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Radiant Logic and/or SailPoint products 
• Experience with supporting IAM in a Cloud environment, including Azure or AWS
• Experience with SQL database administration or management
• Experience with integrating Radiant Logic with third party data sources
