Job Overview:

As a Sr. Deployment Engineer specializing in micro-segmentation SaaS solutions, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing micro-segmentation strategies for our clients. Your role involves working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of our micro-segmentation platform, enhancing security and network efficiency. You will leverage your expertise to translate complex requirements into practical solutions, ensuring that our SaaS offering meets clients’ needs and delivers measurable value.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Implementation:

o    Collaborate with clients to understand their network architecture, security requirements, and micro-segmentation needs.

o    Design scalable and efficient micro-segmentation solutions tailored to the client's environment and objectives.

o    Oversee the deployment of the micro-segmentation SaaS solution, ensuring integration with existing systems and infrastructure.

Technical Leadership:

o    Provide technical guidance and support throughout the implementation lifecycle, from planning and configuration to deployment and troubleshooting.

o    Develop and deliver presentations, demos, and technical documentation to clients and internal teams.

Client Engagement:

o    Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, addressing their questions, concerns, and requirements.

o    Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate clients on micro-segmentation best practices and the effective use of our SaaS solution.

Optimization and Improvement:

o    Monitor the performance of deployed solutions, analyzing metrics and feedback to identify areas for improvement.

o    Propose and implement enhancements to optimize the effectiveness of micro-segmentation strategies and the overall SaaS offering.

Collaboration:

o    Work closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to ensure alignment between client requirements and product capabilities.

o    Contribute to the development of product roadmaps and feature enhancements based on client feedback and industry trends.

Documentation and Reporting:

o    Create detailed design documents, implementation guides, and operational runbooks.

o    Prepare and present regular status reports, project updates, and post-deployment reviews to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

o    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCIE) are a plus.

o    Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) as a Solutions Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on network security, micro-segmentation, and SaaS solutions.

Technical Skills:

o    Deep understanding of micro-segmentation principles and best practices.

o    Proficiency in deploying and managing SaaS solutions.

o    Hands on skill sets to deploy network and security solutions is a must.

o    Experience with network security protocols, firewall configurations, and network segmentation technologies.

o    Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related security practices.

o    Familiarity with Python/Shell scripting for API automation.

Soft Skills:

o    Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

o    Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

o    Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

o    Experience with specific micro-segmentation SaaS platforms (e.g., Illumio, Guardicore, VMware NSX, Cisco Tetration) is an added advantage.

o    Background in managing large-scale enterprise deployments and integrations.

o    Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to data security and privacy.
