The Senior Endpoint Security Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, managing endpoint security solutions. The Endpoint Security Engineer delivers Endpoint Security solutions in accordance with the organization’s architectural designs, best practices, and regulatory or compliance requirements. As risks change, the Endpoint Security Engineer is responsible for recommending modifications and enhancements to ensure we are evolving with the threat landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Leverages knowledge of existing Endpoint Security technologies and capabilities to partner with internal IT teams to build and operationalize Endpoint Security solutions
  • Complete documentation required to deploy Endpoint Security solutions
  • Continually assess, report on, and make recommendations regarding proposed architectures, strategies, and systems in the Endpoint Security space
  • Partner with other internal IT teams to ensure solutions are built, deployed, and modified as necessary according to the project's needs and timelines
  • Implement technical solutions to ensure platforms always run by building monitoring and testing solutions
  • Ensure Endpoint Security platforms, policies and emerging technology meet company standards and security best practices
  • Support audit and compliance activities by providing acceptable evidence of Endpoint Security controls and supporting information
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Endpoint Security technologies
  • Serve as an escalation point for Endpoint Security technologies
  • Lead Endpoint Security proof of concepts (POCs)

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience implementing, and managing Endpoint Security solutions – Financial services experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of past, current, and emerging malware and security exploits, products and concepts pertaining to Endpoint Security
  • Experience with Endpoint Security processes and documentation
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills across Endpoint Security technology domains
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment and identify and recommend gaps to accomplish complete Endpoint Security solutions
  • Ability to analyze and test new solutions for security requirements related to Endpoint Security
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, workflow, and automation
  • MS Office skills including Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and experience using these tools to build design documentation
  • Familiarity with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box, Parallels)
  • Experience with one or more scripting technologies: PowerShell, Python, Windows Batch,
  • Experience in working in Agile delivery methods (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps)
