The One 23 Group, a Virginia-based Government Contractor, seeks a SECRET Cleared Cybersecurity Training Lead local to Springfield, Virginia area. 

Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Training Lead to manage and oversee the delivery of comprehensive cybersecurity training support services for a Federal client. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of the cybersecurity training program, including project planning, content development, instructional design, and training tool support, are executed to the highest standards. The Cybersecurity Training Lead will also engage in ongoing communication with stakeholders, manage the training delivery application, and ensure all training modules are compliant with federal requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Training Delivery: Oversee the management and delivery of all client cybersecurity training support services. This includes project planning, content development, instructional design, and administrative support.
  • Module Development: Develop cybersecurity training modules, including blended, online training, and role-based training, using government-provided tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Adobe Pro, Adobe Premiere Rush, KnowBe4), and cybersecurity videos. Ensure all modules are 508 and SCORM compliant. 
  • IT Academy Support: Assist with the establishment and enhancement of the client’s Information Technology Academy and IT Immersion Program, including coordination, planning, scheduling, administrative efforts, curriculum and content development, and instructional design.
  • Policy-Based Training Development: Develop training materials based on federal and department-wide cybersecurity      policies, standards, strategies, and frameworks, including the Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST AI RMF, Machine Learning, Robotic Processing Automation, SELC, Secure Development and IT Operations, and the Cybersecurity Acquisition Lifecycle (Cyber ALF).
  • Consult with Stakeholders and SMEs: Collaborate with cybersecurity specialists and other subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and refine training content. This involves coordinating, planning, scheduling, and managing administrative efforts.
  • CSAT Enhancement: Cultivate a cyber-aware environment by enhancing the Annual Refresher Cybersecurity Awareness Training (CSAT) with real-world scenarios and case studies.
  • Training Tool Administration: Administer the designated cybersecurity training delivery application, ensuring its effective use and maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience      supporting large-scale projects in a Federal Market Space.
  • Certifications: Must possess one of the      following certifications:
    • Project Management Professional  (PMP)
    • Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP)
    • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
    • Certified Governance, Risk & Compliance (CGRC)
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing large teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality training services in a federal environment.

Clearance: 

  • Must possess an active SECRET clearance.
