DevOps Security Engineer - DLP

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced DevOps Security Engineer, to be part of a global team at one of the world's largest financial institutions.

This role is within a dynamic security agile squad focused on Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) and cloud adoption; responsibilities include:

• Automating cloud and on-prem infrastructure processes to implement/enhance DLP controls
• Enhancing DevOps practices within the squad including Infrastructure as Code, test automation, CI/CD, etc.
• Managing a global DLP security infrastructure and working with an array of security products such as Symantec DLP, Splunk, Microsoft Information Protection, Netskope
• Working with a range of risk teams to understand and implement security requirements
• Handling operational escalations and managing production incidents during on-call support.

Must Have:

• Scripting: Python, PowerShell or similar
• DevOps: Git, CI/CD Pipeline, Test Automation
• OS: Linux, Windows, macOS(optional)
• Networking: network configuration and debugging
• Security Practices: Knowledge of critical cyber security controls, policies etc.
• Experience of working in large enterprise scale environments

Nice to have:

• DLP: Symantec DLP, Microsoft DLP, Netskope DLP
• Cloud: Azure, M365, AWS etc
• Orchestration: Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes
• Database: Oracle, MSSQL, SQLite
• Data Handling: Splunk, Microsoft Dynamics, Hive, Archer

Professional Skills

• Experience working within Agile teams
• Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL)
• Self-starter with proven experience in technical & application support of enterprise systems
• The ability to manage task and work autonomously where required
• Ability to quickly learn and understand proprietary technologies in a complex, regulated environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach.
