EY- Cyber Security – Technology Consulting – Zero Trust Security - Manager

As part of our EY Cyber Security team, you shall be responsible for defining, solutioning, integrating, and implementing innovative solutions which will enhance our service delivery quality, as well as help us strategically elevate technology driven transformation for our clients. You’ll also help to create a positive learning culture, coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.

The opportunity

We’re looking for an zero trust security professional with solution mindset and hands on security engineering expertise in various zero trust pillars, zero trust security concepts, architecture design. Your key responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine the current state of maturity for zero trust and organizations state of readiness for zero trust
• Designing, building, testing and implementing zero trust architecture, zero trust network access and policy-based access controls.
• Identify requirements, design and implement technical solutions for scalable and resilient zero trust architecture.
• Implementing policy decision points (PDP), policy enforcement points (PEP), Policy Administrators (PA) and integrating signals from various security controls as part of zero trust.
• Planning, design, deployment, configuration, integration and management of network segmentation, micro-segmentation, zero trust network access (ZTNA) and secure access service edge (SASE) solutions
• Prepare technical & commercial response to the RFPs received in zero trust
• Define strategy & roadmap for implementation of zero trust for our clients
• Participate in go-to market activities like Roadshows & internal workshops related to zero trust
• Facilitate client workshops for zero trust
• Build strong team of zero trust professionals to support the organizations growth

Skills and attributes for success

• Deep understanding of zero trust standards like SP 800-53, SP 800-207, CISA & DOD zero trust frameworks
• Experience in building Zero Trust security architecture, strategy and solution design.
• Plan, design, deploy, configure, integrate, and manage zero trust technology solutions like
  • Zscaler/Netskope
  • Guardicore and Illumio
  • Cloudflare/Akamai/Cloud WAF
• Possess hands on experience in segmenting networks, applications, and data to reduce attack surface
• Good understanding of security concepts and technologies including, but not limited to TCP/IP, LDAP, DHCP, DNS, web filtering, policy-based access control, DLP etc.
• Serve as highly technical security expert to bring security transformation
• Self-starter and strategic thinker with proven track record in building and maintaining trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel and flex work timings as and when required with ability to change and adapt in a hyper-growth environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and executive presence that enable effective engagement with senior client/business stakeholders.
• Must communicate consistently and drive objectives, relying on fact-based decisions about risk that optimize the trade-off between risk mitigation and business performance.
• Good presentation, project management, facilitation and delivery skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 8-11 years of experience in Information Technology experience, with specialization in Cyber Security roles that include multiple areas of specialization. Professional-level knowledge in areas from the following:
  • Zero trust security engineering & architecture assessments
    • Strong hands-on exp. in firewalls, VPNs, ZTNA, SASE, NAC, SDWAN, WAF, Proxy
    • Expert level experience with deployment, maintenance and operations of different zero trust technologies
    • Entrepreneurial approach to solving security problems with consultative skills

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Good soft skills i.e. verbal & written communication, technical document writing
• Strong project management, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience working in Advisory or Technology Consulting industry
• Customer orientation skills
