Job Description

Sutherland is looking for a Microsoft Certified Training Professional to support one of our growing programs! If you have excellent training delivery skills along with the MS certifications or equivalent experience as noted below, we want to hear from you! 

The Microsoft Certified Trainer will be responsible for the following:

  • Training delivery. You will conduct live, instructor-led virtual training sessions, ensuring high engagement and knowledge retention among client employees.
  • Content development and customization. You will develop and customize training content for client employees related to the Microsoft Office 365 suite and some client applications, ensuring it is relevant and up to date.
  • Material reuse and alignment. You will reuse existing training materials where applicable and align new content with the client’s specific needs and goals.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand training requirements, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Continuous improvement. You will update training materials regularly based on new features, updates, and employee feedback to ensure ongoing relevance and effectiveness.
  • Performance measurement. You will assess the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, assessments, and feedback, and make necessary adjustments to improve future sessions.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite: Expertise in tools such as Outlook, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, OneNote, Powerpoint, Word, SharePoint, Planner, PowerBI, MyHub, and PowerAutomate.
  • Training program development: Proficient in creating and curating training materials, including reusing existing content where applicable.
  • Virtual training delivery: 2+ years experience in conducting live, instructor-led virtual training sessions.
  • Stakeholder management: Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders to align training objectives with business needs.
  • Instructional design: Skilled in designing interactive and engaging training programs.
  • Technical support and troubleshooting: Capable of providing technical support and troubleshooting during training sessions.
  • Communication and Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to adjust work schedule to accommodate varied timezones for global client employees.
  • Ability to travel to Cincinnati approximately two to three times per quarter.
  • Based on experience, the salary range for the role is $70,000 - $77,000 per year.

Required certification:

  • Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) or equivalent proven experience and actively working toward MCT.

Desired certifications:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (Optional for security-related aspects)
  • Certified Trainer with a Learning Management System
