Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Information Systems Security Engineer to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide services for securing, maintaining, operating, and supporting the customer's IT systems by providing continuous assurance with full awareness of security, regulatory, and corporate policies, compliance, and implementation of technology in support of security controls.
• Keep up-to-date information on customer's security posture and provide status updates and briefings to customer management.
• Define system security requirements, develop security concept of operations (CONOPs), and security baselines.
• Conduct information security and cybersecurity assessment testing and reporting, identify deficiencies and document plans of action and milestones.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Active Top Secret security clearance with willingness to be submitted for a polygraph upgrade
• Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college; or a Master's degree in Computer Science or related scientific/technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in INFOSEC, and assessing, categorizing, classifying and evaluating cybersecurity risks and threats.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience using common INFOSEC and cybersecurity tools such as Tenable Nessus and Security Center, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, and/or Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP).
• Additional education, training, certifications, or work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree or work experience at the customer's discretion

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Current CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner or ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional or Associate certification is desired
