- Define platform infrastructure methodology
- Drive infrastructure as code standards
- Ensure observability reliability scalability and cost effectiveness
- Implement GitOps workflows
- Improve operational maturity through continuous improvement
- Influence platform architecture integration and mission requirements
- Lead mentor and grow platform engineers
- Manage incidents post mortems and runbooks
- Manage service onboarding and environment management
- Monitor service health and performance metrics
- Partner with cybersecurity product and engineering to support secure delivery
