At Chubb, we are committed to protecting our digital assets and ensuring the safety of our information systems. We are seeking a talented and dedicated Digital Security Specialist to join our team. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding our company’s data and ensuring the integrity of our digital infrastructure. 

Position Overview: The Digital Security Specialist will be responsible for the implementation, monitoring, and enhancement of our digital security measures. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, the ability to respond to threats, and the expertise to develop strategies to prevent future attacks. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Security Monitoring: Continuously monitor network traffic and system activities to identify and respond to security incidents and breaches. 

• Risk Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to identify vulnerabilities in hardware, software, and network infrastructure. Implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks. 

Incident Response: Develop and execute incident response plans, including threat analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery efforts. 

• Policy Development: Create and maintain security policies, procedures, and protocols to comply with industry standards and regulations. 

• Access Management: Manage user access controls, authentication systems, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security policies. 

• Security Awareness: Train staff on security best practices and promote a culture of security awareness across the organization. 

• Threat Intelligence: Stay current with emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, and implement proactive measures to address potential risks. 

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO/IEC 27001. 

• Technology Implementation: Evaluate and implement security solutions, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems. 

• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of security incidents, assessments, and procedures for audit and review purposes. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable. 
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a digital security role or similar position. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in security technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection. Strong understanding of encryption methods, vulnerability assessment tools, and security frameworks. 
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions. 
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey security concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
