As part of Lombard Odier Technology and Operations Services (Europe) Business Risk Management function, your role is to work with the local CRO and key stakeholders to identify, assess, manage and mitigate Operational Risks.

A key focus will be to manage and deliver risk remediation activity across key risks (Processing, Information, Technology, Cybersecurity…), liaising with stakeholders to ensure appropriate risk mitigation activity is decisioned, coordinated and executed.  Your function will cover all key domains assured by LO-T&OS (IT, Operations, HR, Logistic…).

YOUR ROLE

  • Identify and support measures to manage and mitigate risks across Technology and Operations to a level acceptable to the senior management.

  • Work with the business areas to define appropriate risk reduction and mitigation actions and activities while meeting the business need.

  • Partner with all areas of the business, Operations and IT and business partners on risk remediation related projects.

  • Support discussions and provide guidance in managing risk remediation efforts.

  • Monitor, track, document and report on risk remediation activities.

  • Support the team and function heads with the execution of the agreed Risk and Control Self-Assessment plan.

  • Strongly Collaborate with the Lombard Odier Group first line of defense and local CRO/DPO on implementing and improving risk management processes and controls.

  • Embed a supportive Risk culture across all functions within Technology & Operations by promoting and supporting a culture of high sensitivity to risks.

  • Monitor the effectiveness of the first line operational risk controls and risk profile.

  • Improve the existing key risk and performance indicators (production, analysis and escalation) and the associated risk appetite levels.

  • Support the risk monitoring methodology and plan.

  • Act as “Outsourcing Officer” and monitor, review and follow-up on all outsourced activities.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master degree or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in risk management (or similar control function).

  • CISA, CRISC; CISM, CISSP or ITIL certifications will be appreciated.

  • Excellent command of the general standard operational risk management processes with a focus in the Operations and IT risk management domains.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.

  • Ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels.
