About the Role

 

You would be responsible for co-ordinating compliance activities in support of Swiss Re strategies relating to personal data to ensure compliance with the applicable rules and regulations. You will maintain and improve the data protection compliance framework, bring together stakeholders to work on cross-functional teams, encourage and enable the use of compliance by design and privacy by design tools. This is a role with a global scope, where no two days are the same.  
 
•    Support development and maintenance of the Compliance Program and associated Compliance Risk mitigation standards for existing and new/amended regulations including policies, guidelines, training and communication. 
•    Disseminate enabling guidance and technical expertise to key stakeholders 
•    Provide support with respect to any Compliance Data Protection initiatives 
•    Investigate data incidents and liaise with technical experts to support the proper assessment of data breaches
•    Support Swiss Re responses to requests from individuals and external bodies
•    Support the design and delivery of training on data protection 

 

About the Team

 

We're a team that's always working to find new ways to solve challenges. We are based in EMEA, Asia and Americas and work with colleagues in all Swiss Re locations. You would report to the Head of Compliance Data Protection.
 

About You

 

You place team work and integrity above all else, you've got strong interpersonal skills and communicate well. An ideal candidate can also demonstrate ability to prioritize work and plan ahead. You're detail oriented, curious, and eager to learn.  
 
Essential:  
•    University or equivalent qualification 
•    Minimum 3 years experience in the area of Compliance, Risk Management or Legal or equivalent
•    Awareness and understanding of data protection requirements
•    Solid understanding of common business tools (Excel, Powepoint, Teams)
•    Fluent in English 

Nice to have:  
•    Demonstrated willingness to become a data protection subject matter expert
•    Previous experience in digital projects  
 

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 1 900 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
