Our Strategic Program Management Office Sourcing practice will provide you with the opportunity to help organizations balance long term strategies and short-term imperatives to optimize their investments and strategic activity required to achieve the organization's business objectives. We help enhance organizations project and program performance by identifying alternative project approaches, consistently aligning projects with corporate strategy, setting the tone and pace of programs from the outset, responding quickly and effectively to crisis situations and extracting value from agile program delivery. Our team's roles focus on project portfolio management for both people and client management. Additionally, our team processes services such as portfolio, program, and project management which require a diverse range of skill sets needed and growth opportunities for new and experienced team members.

Required Knowledge/Skills *

We are looking for a strong Azure DevOps Engineer specializing in DevOps to join our technical team with primary responsibility to facilitate better coordination among operations, development, and testing functions by automating and streamlining the integration and deployment processes. The candidate must be a self-starter, able to work independently, and can collaborate well with the overall project group.

Essential Functions

Lead and manage a team of Integrated Operations Engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and support.

Develop and implement strategies to align integrated operations initiatives with business objectives and requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system integration.

Oversee the implementation and configuration of integrated operations systems, including networks, applications, databases, and hardware infrastructure.

Ensure seamless data flow between systems and databases, leveraging your expertise in SQL Database to  optimize database structures, queries, and performance.

Implement, and manage Azure networking infrastructure, leveraging your knowledge of Azure networking to ensure secure and efficient network connectivity.

Develop and implement monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track the performance and effectiveness of integrated operations systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to integrated operations systems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.

Provide leadership and guidance in defining best practices and standards for integrated operations processes and technologies.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to integrated operations, SQL Database, Azure networking, and Azure storage, making recommendations for their implementation as appropriate.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that integrated operations solutions meet their needs.

Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring effective delivery of services and solutions.

Analyzing, executing, and streamlining DevOps practices

Automating processes with the right tools

Facilitating development processes and operations

Establish a suitable DevOps channel across the organization

Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Terraform and Azure DevOps, and provide technical leadership to the team in implementing, and maintaining infrastructure as code solutions.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to DevSecOps, Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, Azure Kubernetes Service, and containerization.

Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and operations teams, to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and application components.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization, and drive the implementation of best practices within the team.

Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, deployment guides, and operational procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field experience. Master's degree is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on Terraform and Azure DevOps.

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Terraform, including infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and version control.

Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, release management, and infrastructure automation.

Proficiency in Github Enterprise, including Github actions, release management, and infrastructure automation

Experience in managing and leading a team of engineers, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with clients.

Certifications in Terraform and Azure DevOps are highly desirable.
