PILMICO FOODS CORPORATION, the food and agribusiness subsidiary of Aboitiz Equity Ventures, is considered as one of the largest flour milling companies in the Philippines. We are primarily engaged in the manufacture of wheat flour and wheat by-products and have been ranked among the top three domestic flour producers in terms of sales.

We import both soft and hard wheat, the primary raw material for our products, from the United States and Canada. All our flour products are fortified with Vitamin A and Iron, and certified with Halal and Sangkap Pinoy seal. Through our Research and Training facilities located in Luzon and Mindanao, we also offer technical services and bakery training to meet the needs of our stakeholders.

Our products are distributed all over the Philippines through distributors and dealers. We have also expanded the reach of our flour products to the ASEAN region, exporting to countries like: Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar and Hongkong.

Job Description

The IT Security & Operations Lead role is responsible for managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure in the sites. These will include: installing upgrades, troubleshooting and installation of hardware, servers, cabling, components and accessories in compliance to the organization’s standards; installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools to proactively ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability and connectivity; creating, planning and implementing detailed deployment designs as well as maintaining technical implementation documentation on existing services and systems. Within the SFIA profile, the Infrastructure Lead must demonstrate Level 4 responsibilities, i.e. Enable the competencies outlined.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer software/computer systems engineering, computer systems and networks, electrical/electronic engineering, mathematics, network security management; Masters or postgraduate degree is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Network Engineer or related role, and 2 years supervising junior level engineers
  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto products such as Next-Generation firewalls, Cortex XDR and Prisma
  • Hands-on experience in malware detection, analysis and removal
  • Experience with Information security risk assessments, threat modeling, application security, and information systems audit
  • Exposure to network security and architecture, virtualization platform(s), SEIM solutions, such as Splunk or QRadar, Cisco ISE and Cisco Secure Network Analytics (Stealthwatch)
  • Experience with vulnerability management and VM tools such as Qualys VMDR
  • Any relevant Network Engineer certifications such as:
    • CompTIA A+ Certification
    • CompTIA Network+ Certification
    • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 
    • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Core Infrastructure
    • VMware Certified Professional – Network Virtualization
    • Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT)
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – Routing and Switching
    • Cisco Certified Network Professional Level (CCNP) – Routing and Switching
    • Preferred Certifications: Palo Alto, SANS GIAC, OSCP, CISSP
  • Demonstrated knowledge of network topologies and implementations (e.g. VPN, LAN, WAN, Wireless)
  • Responsible for overseeing information security, cybersecurity and IT risk management programs based on industry-accepted information security and risk management frameworks
  • Experience as technical lead for a major technology implementation
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT network design and governance
