As a cyber mission specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. At Booz Allen, you can use your cyberspace operations experience to create solutions that will be executed on a worldwide stage. We’re looking for an experienced cyber mission specialist like you to apply your knowledge in system security plans, security test procedures, and cyber threat info and impact our nation’s defense.
In this role, you’ll be counted on to understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You will leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to our customer's mission area.
This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for the Air Force. Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control.

You Have:
3+ years of experience with developing and evaluating security documentation, including system security plans, contingency plans, security test procedures, and continuity of operations plans
3+ years of experience with security architecture evaluations, guidance development, and troubleshooting
3+ years of experience working with cloud service providers, including Amazon Web Services
Experience with managing security applications within Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience with using cloud services or security applications to generate reports to conduct security analysis of current processes and platforms
Experience with cyber security tools, including SD Elements, Fortify Static Code Analyzer, STIGs, ACAS, SCAP, or SCC Tools
Knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST SP 800-53 Security and Privacy Controls, FISMA, and FEDRAMP
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree
IAT or IAM Level II DoD 8570 Certification, including Sec+ or CASP+
Nice If You Have:
Experience with managing security applications within a Cloud Service Provider, including Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
Experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Experience with DevSecOps
Experience conducting penetration testing
Experience working with Containers or Virtual Machines
Knowledge of Xacta
Ability to develop scripts, including python or similar language to test systems or automate security processes
Ability to reverse engineer applications to develop security tests
Possession of excellent team leadership, development, interpersonal, communication, and client relationship skills
Microsoft Azure Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
