The Business & Cyber Resilience Coordinator is a senior-level individual contributor responsible for leading the organization’s business continuity (BC), disaster recovery (DR) and cyber resilience efforts.  This role focuses on creating standards and policies to define what ‘good looks like’ for resiliency and enables the creation of Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), Threat and Risk Assessments, BC Plans, and DR/Cyber Plans. The coordinator partners with individual productteams to create business requirements to enable information technology to build and testcapabilities through resiliency.

What will you do?

  • Lead the organization’s resiliency initiatives
  • Ensure that all products adhere to established resiliency standards
  • Be the subject matter expert (SME) for resiliency by providing guidance and support to product teams
  • Foster a culture of resiliency and preparedness across the organization through training and awareness programs
  • Regularly review and update resiliency strategies to address new threats and changes in the business environment
  • Engage with clients to effectively communicate the organization’s business and cyber resilience posture, addressing client inquiries and concerns, and providing expert guidance on resilience strategies and best practices
  • Conduct comprehensive BIAs to identify critical business functions and processes
  • Define and establish business and cyber resiliency standards and procedures
  • Coordinate and oversee business and cyber resiliency testing across various products
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure business and cyber resilience are built into their product development and maintenance processes
  • Assess and improve existing business and cyber resiliency plans and strategies
  • Provide expertise and guidance on resiliency best practices including the latest trends related to external audit and applicable regulation standards
  • Prepare and present reports on resiliency testing outcomes and improvements to senior management

What will you bring?

  • 7+ years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, cyber resiliency or a related field
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Strong understanding of modern cloud technologies (AWS, GCP), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes) as well as on-premises technologies.
  • Expertise in conducting BIAs, Threat and Risk Assessments and creating BC, DR and cyber resiliency plans
  • Proven experience in defining and implementing business and cyber resilience standards
  • Proficiency in resiliency testing methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CBCP, or equivalent are preferred

The above salary range represents Smarsh's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.

The salary for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, location, specialty and training. Local cost of living assessments are done for each new hire at the time of offer.
