TRISTAR is seeking a Senior Senior Systems Security Engineer for our government customer in Port Hueneme, CA

Position Description:

• The Senior Senior Systems Security Engineer shall support the requirements of a complex matrix organization, supporting various sponsor driven requirements with the goal of developing IT tools that can be leveraged across organizational boundaries
• In addition to operating and maintaining the current Navy standard / Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) applications and infrastructure, NSWC PHD requires continuous visibility into emerging technologies, seeking more efficient and effective ways of accomplishing both mission and business tasking

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with the DoD Cybersecurity Authorization & Accreditation processes and tools (to include RMF and eMASS)
• Minimum of five years of Cybersecurity system auditing and monitoring experience (to include Inspector General inspection and Command Cyber Readiness Inspection criteria)
• Experience with the Navy's ACAS system and Navy's VRAM
  
• MUST be a US Citizen
• Must have active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of Experience with DoD or DoN cybersecurity policies and procedures
• Experience managing DoD Cybersecurity Program requirements and deliverable
• Knowledge of HBSS, Firewall, IDS, and IPS

Education and Certifications:

• BS in engineering, computer science or other technical discipline
