Your Career
If you are a visionary leader and want to reshape the approach to security within SOCs, we are seeking a Team Lead for Security Research. Be a part of the analytics research group and build our analytics module from defining the detection use cases, data and content. You will lead and guide a talented team of researchers in safeguarding our customers across diverse domains and will help develop our XDR with focus on Email security. This role presents a unique opportunity to lead a startup-level product initiative within the largest security company and transform the security landscape.
Your Impact
- Lead research efforts to uncover emerging email-based threats, including phishing, BEC attacks, and malware distribution
- Stay abreast of the latest threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to ensure proactive security measures
- Drive the creation of inventive detection mechanisms and necessary data to thwart attackers
- Oversee lab-based attack simulations and conduct comprehensive behavioral analyses ֿ
- Share discoveries with the security community through thought leadership materials, such as blog posts, white papers, and presentations
- Collaborate closely with fellow security researchers, engineers, and product teams to foster innovation and enhance our security solutions
- Guide and mentor a team of skilled researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Qualifications
Your Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in security research generally
- 2+ years of experience leading a team- advantage
- Excellent communication skills - ability to present research results, processes and ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Proficient hands-on coding skills (e.g. Python)
- Experience with SQL or related query languages Advantages
- Experience with big data platforms (e.g. GCP) Experience with XDR/EDR/NDR/CDR products
- Advantages Experience in email security Deep knowledge of email protocols and email security technologies/products
