Job Description
As a ServiceNow SecOps Engineer at Zscaler, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our ServiceNow SecOps platform. You will be responsible for creating and enhancing case management, orchestration, and automation solutions to support incident response. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient management and resolution of security incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- SecOps Solution Development: Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow SecOps solutions, including case management, orchestration, and automation, to meet the specific needs of the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Automation: Implement and maintain automated workflows and playbooks for incident detection, analysis, and response, leveraging ServiceNow capabilities.
- Case Management: Develop and optimize case management processes to streamline incident tracking, assignment, and resolution.
- Orchestration: Create and maintain orchestration workflows to automate repetitive security tasks and actions.
- Integration: Integrate SecOps tools, such as threat intelligence feeds and security orchestration platforms, into the ServiceNow platform.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of SecOps processes, workflows, and configurations.
- Security Best Practices: Ensure that SecOps solutions and processes adhere to industry best practices and security standards.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security analysts, engineers, and IT professionals, to enhance SecOps capabilities.
- Incident Response: Collaborate with incident response teams to ensure effective integration of SecOps processes, enabling rapid and coordinated incident resolution.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams and clients on the effective use of ServiceNow SecOps solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in developing case management, orchestration, and automation solutions using ServiceNow SecOps.
- Experience in incident response, including incident detection, analysis, and mitigation.
- Strong understanding of security operations and best practices.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including scripting, workflow design, and integration.
- Familiarity with security orchestration and automation platforms (SOAR).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications, such as ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, are a plus.
- Ability to adapt to evolving security threats and technologies.
