Associate DevSecOps Engineer

JMA has an opportunity for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Bologna, Italy.
The DevSecOps Engineer at JMA will build and enable CI/CD with a focus on productivity and increased efficiencies, support the Security team, and mentor team members in DevSecOps best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to validate product integration in production-like systems.
• Perform analysis and evaluations of DevSecOps issues, develop remediation solutions, and assignments for implementation.
• Support Security team in their effort to provide security patch releases/bundles for product software applications.
• Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Podman to facilitate application deployment and scalability.
• Manage container orchestration and deployment using Kubernetes and RedHat OpenShift.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible.
• Implement and maintain scripts and automation tools (Python, Bash, Ansible) for tasks automation in Linux environment.
• Manage version control and collaboration using Git.
• Create and maintain documentation and knowledge sharing spaces using Confluence.
• Collaborate with team leads to configure and customize Jira Software for project management and issue tracking.
• Support R&D teams and Project Managers on Atlassian suite tools usage providing guidance, customization, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer engineering or computer science
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD concepts
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman), Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift
• Knowledge with Atlassian suite (Jira Software, Bitbucket, Confluence) or similar tools
• Proficiency with Python and Bash scripting languages
• Proficiency with RESTful API concepts
• Knowledge of Git
• Good Knowledges of Linux Operating System and command line
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Fluent Italian & English (B2 level at least)
• (As a plus) Knowledge of Atlassian Jira Software, Bitbucket and Confluence REST APIs
• (As a plus) Familiarity with monitoring and alerting systems like Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana
• (As a plus) Knowledge with Ansible
