Description

Milliman takes the safety of our client’s retirement account seriously and is looking for an IT Compliance Analyst to join our team. The primary focus of the IT Compliance Analyst is to perform annual and periodic audits/assessments while serving as the liaison for IT-related audits, including SOC 1, SOC 2, Milliman corporate assessments, and client reviews, while working with various departments to gather and review evidence requested in the course of an audit/assessment.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain positive and productive relationships with internal team members and external contacts throughout an audit/assessment.
  • Lead Milliman's efforts to provide requested audit evidence in a timely manner.
  • Organize audit-related materials and evidence in a manner that supports historical research and retention policies.
  • Responsible for identifying control deficiencies and communicating the deficiency to the appropriate leader.
  • Identifies and collaborates with Milliman team members to design IT and business processes and controls to support compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively assess processes and IT controls across EBAC Technology and EBAC lines of business.
  • Execute compliance tests of operating effectiveness for IT systems and internal controls, as requested.

 

Who We Are Looking For

Required Experience and Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT audit, assessment, or risk management.
  • Knowledge and experience with IT control assessments/reviews that include system development, physical and logical access controls, data centers, SQL databases, applications, and operations infrastructure.
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to self organize and meet timelines.
  • Ability to work remotely with a team and possibly external contacts that may be globally distributed.
  • Ability to interpret information security data and processes to identify potential compliance issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to prepare documentation, policies and build consensus across a broad group.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SOC 1 and SOC 2.
  • Experience with MS Teams, Azure DevOps and flowcharting software.

Personal Qualifications

  • Works well within a team environment and takes ownership of personal work product.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and other general office equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Able to productively respond to change.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

 

Location

This role is based out of the Milliman office in Dallas, TX, but candidates hired into this role may work remotely anywhere in the US.

 

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $117,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
