Job Title: Senior Product Architect/ Owner 

Location:  Preferably Salt Lake City, Utah OR Remote

 

Job Description 
Everfox is seeking a qualified product architect/owner responsible for assessing, strategizing, defining and prioritizing product functionality for the UAM product’s endpoint components. Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, the product architect will scope release content and define all product requirements including user flows, system behavior, and end-to-end functionality in whatever format needed by the development team to deliver on-time and high-quality software products that align with business goals. The candidate will support the company’s strategy to develop an improved development process and implement the tactics, within their role, associated with that philosophy and vision. The candidate will serve as a primary liaison between engineering, product management, professional services, support and customers. The product architect/owner must have a high level of knowledge in the UAM product and must be comfortable in standing up a system and using the product. 

 

The product architect will be expected to serve as a subject matter expert for the product, constantly performing research and analyzation to assess the highest needs and greatest feature implementation paths to satisfy those needs. They must also be expert in translating that information into workable content for development teams and to perform and communicate the prioritization of features.  

 

Responsibilities Include 
 

Focus Area: UAM Endpoints agents - policies, management, data, and how it’s all displayed & used in the user interface 

  • Drive vision for the Insider Risk growth acceleration plan, including simplified O&M, UI, and Install by evaluating feature requests, POC requests, market opportunity and usability within the endpoint focus area. 

  • Actively use the product in-house and at customer sites, identifying problems, proving it’s worth, gathering feedback, proposing improvements  

  • Visit customers, help them tune systems, bring back feedback  

  • Work with IT leadership to help run the Everfox UAM system 

  • Setup UAM lab systems in-house and recruit people to act out scenarios to gather real-world data. 

  • Drive creation of productized UAM policy packs 

  • Gather policies from policy team, PS, SE’s, customers, etc. 

  • Polish them, productize them, create an out-of-the-box policy pack that requires minimal tuning. 

  • Sync policies with customers, PS, analytics product, QA, etc. to give us the best, most polished and unified out of the box pack of policies and make everyone aware of them. 

  • Create & test new policy ideas to achieve new capabilities 

  • Assist with research, definition, and testing of agent features early in dev lifecycle 

  • Try to use the feature in real-world scenarios to accomplish the customer mission 

  • Does it work?  False positives/noise?  Too spammy? Is it effective?   

  • Help direct QA to answer specific usability questions as part of their testing. 

  • Assist with designing UI to be most effective to users  

  • Focused on agent management and agent endpoint data 

  • Demo & educate on the optimal way to use the product to Dev, PS, Sales, etc. 

  • Use information gathered through preceding activities, and define system behavior, varying from end-to-end user behavior and flow, to non-functional system requirements 

  • Frequently collaborate with stakeholders to create and organize product backlogs; drive the prioritization process produce and present proposals to stakeholders internal and external to development. 

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert of our products, their user needs and market needs; make macro and micro decisions on product and feature direction 

  • Capture and communicate product and feature direction and functionality in well-written deliverables  

  • Develop project document deliverables such as system requirements documents, user stories, epics, features, release notes, etc. 

  • Make decisions regarding bug fixes including implementation and user interaction 

  • Solve product related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments 

 

Required Skills & Experience 

  • Strong technical background and expert with a UAM product, (specifically in endpoint performance and management) market and domain. 

  • Data analytics, data visualization, and user experience knowledge preferred. 

  • Ability to define and deploy products for technical users such as system and networking administrators. 

  • Ability to understand complex technical problems, and to interpret security and networking requirements from government entities. 

  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies. 

  • Act as an ambassador for the customer and act as the primary contact for queries related to feature functionality. 

  • Minimum of five years of experience with the Everfox UAM product 

  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Must be capable of leading and successfully working with individuals from different disciplines and experience levels. 

  • Management of stakeholders and their expectations. 

  • Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information.  

 

Additional Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or other related field is required. Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. 

  • Experience working on government contracts preferred. 

  • Ability to obtain US-Government Security Clearance. 

 

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:

$99,918.17-172,225.30 USD

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
