The Role:

As the usage of information and communication technology increases, aircraft information security becomes crucial. GRC Analyst for Avionics will support the continued airworthiness and oversee the implementation of specific information security polices and practices on regular basis. The ideal candidate is someone with a proven track record, sound technical knowledge, expertise in Information Security and aviation regulations and standards, and whose heart is in the governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) area.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the projects related to Avionics
  • Delivering risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience - control and report regularly on risks to ensure an adequate and proactive risk management
  • Understanding technical implementation details necessary to identify and assess security risks for aviation electronics
  • Working with Software developers and/or IT Teams/Engineers to recommend appropriate remediation/mitigation plans
  • Conducting / taking part in regular security audits of avionics systems
  • Staying up to date with the latest aircraft cybersecurity trends, threats and vulnerabilities
  • Working as risk adviser supporting business in developing ethics and risk culture
  • Building relationships and partner up with colleagues in GRC

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business, Information Security, or Information Technology
  • Experience with industry standard security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, COBIT
  • Knowledge of Aviation regulations (EASA, ICAO)
  • Good understanding of information security principles and best-practices
  • Strong ethical values and sense of compliance
  • Experience with reporting processes and reporting technology
  • Knowledge of Risk Management & Vulnerability Management
  • Good written and oral communication in English
  • Hands-on system infrastructure operations, security operations or a security engineering background
  • Willingness to work in international team
  • Comfortable leading large projects with multiple opposing priorities
  • Considerable experience working in project teams focused on complex, high value projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to deal with pressure and tight deadlines
