As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support to numerous enterprise application security tools and technologies that support vulnerability scanning, static and dynamic application security testing, and container security. You will play a key role in ensuring the overall health of the tools and their underlying infrastructure across various architectures and environments in support of our Attack Surface Reduction team.

What You'll Bring:

What You'll Bring:

• 2+ years of practical security experience in one or more of the following areas: vulnerability scanning, dynamic application security testing (DAST), static application security testing (SAST), interactive application security testing (IAST), container security, and/or security orchestration and automation
• 2+ years of experience administering Linux or Windows systems
• 1+ years of experience deploying and/or supporting solutions within public cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
• 1+ years of providing Tier-1 or Tier-2 support for enterprise-grade technologies
• Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts and fundamentals
• Ability to operate autonomously and collaborate effectively in a fast-moving and highly matrixed environment
• Ability to follow operating guidance to prioritize and execute tasks within defined SLAs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Optional:

• Knowledge of Scrum/Agile software development
• Experience with or knowledge of Jenkins or other CI tools
• Experience with configuration management systems (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, etc.)

• Provide support to various security tools and technologies
• Respond to tickets within an ITSM system, troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues, and triage and investigate alerts impacting the stability of security tools
• Create support tickets with vendors when bugs/defects are identified/reported and see the tickets through to closure
• Identify opportunities for automation and centralized configuration management and assist with the implementation of them
• Work within defined standard operating procedures
• Provide frequent updates on your efforts to your team
