Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, systems operations, and automation. This role involves designing and implementing infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline processes, improve system reliability, and ensure scalability.


Key Responsibilities of a DevOps Architect

  • Designing and developing a robust DevOps framework that integrates with the existing systems and workflows
  • Implementing automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines) to streamline software development and deployment processes
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance infrastructure using automation tools.
  • Collaborating with IT and development teams to ensure that the designed systems meet both technical and consumer needs
  • Creating and maintaining documentation regarding DevOps processes, tools, and configurations
  • Leading the adoption of DevOps practices across the organization and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  • Assessing the current infrastructure and recommending technologies to improve performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Ensuring system security through best practices, security testing, and regular audits
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in the DevOps environment
  • Providing guidance and mentoring to team members on DevOps methodologies and best practices
  • Staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate into the DevOps strategy
  • Working closely with project managers and other stakeholders to align DevOps strategies with business objectives
  • Measuring, analyzing, and reporting on the effectiveness of DevOps initiatives to stakeholders and adjusting strategies as necessary
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployments and rollbacks.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate new and existing applications into the DevOps ecosystem.
  • Implement security best practices in the DevOps process, including vulnerability assessments and compliance checks.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and reliability.
  • Document processes, policies, and procedures related to infrastructure and deployment.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in DevOps, systems architecture, or related roles.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Strong experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer,).
  • Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and tools (e.g., Snyk, SonarQube).
