Job Summary

This position is responsible for the implementation, enforcement, and continuous improvement of Equinix’s information security policies and processes. It will also play a key role in further enhancing culture of information security awareness within our data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Implements program for the sites in scope in partnership with Data Center Leadership, and Country/ Site Leads. Ensures compliance with Hong Kong local law and regulations

• Primary force driving employee engagement in programs at Hong Kong Data Centers within, enhancing culture of teamwork, influencing others to prioritize information security as a key component to success

• Performs routine site inspections and monitors performance for a group of Data Centers including holding routine meetings working with site management/leads for further engagement

• Ensures reporting, analyzes trends, and makes recommendations to modify and improve practices

• Develop, organizes, monitors, and conducts training as needed and provides leadership for community

• Implements Equinix Global policies and procedures and tools as appropriate and implements compliance standards, ISO 27001

• Responsible for ensuring any audit findings (customer, external, internal audits) have been resolved within their scope of responsibility

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience running or supporting compliance program in data center, construction, manufacturing, or similar sector

• Experience with ISO27001 implementation a plus

• Undergraduate degree preferred but not required (so long as demonstrated comparable experience), Graduate Degree a plus

• Proactive with strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, problem solving mind-set, and ability to write reports

• High integrity, skilled communicator, ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities working with different levels of colleagues/stakeholders across Equinix

• Experience working with various cross-functional teams and cultures
