Job Description
Perform comprehensive security assessments including identifying risks and providing solutions for a wide variety of environments:
- Operating system, hardware platforms, SaaS applications
- Network infrastructure (routers, firewalls, VPN)
- Cloud infrastructure platforms and technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Responsibilities
- Define and develop technical security standards and guidelines with internal stakeholders.
- Responsible for monthly FedRAMP deliverables including Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
- Ensure the creation and delivery of evidence, including POA&M, for monthly communication with Agency Sponsors.
- Research new technologies, emerging threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Lead, plan and deliver Incident Response tabletop exercises
- This is a technical hands on position and you will be required to do some scripting and automation.
Qualifications
*** Due to the nature of this role, US Citizenship is REQUIRED***
- Minimum 3+ years experience in one of the following security roles: security operations, security engineering, incident response, penetration testing, intrusion detection, or network security.
- Experience with FedRAMP compliance management including ConMon and SCR disciplines.
- Hands-on experience of performing security testing of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), security assessments of web applications, vulnerability assessments.
- Experience with log analysis, event correlation, incident management procedures
- Excellent communication skills with providing recommendations to internal teams on risk assessment, threat modeling, and remediation of vulnerabilities
- Strong working experience with security assessment tools such as Nessus, BurpSuite, Qualys, Nmap, Metasploit.
- Good scripting experience to automate repetitive tasks

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
