AMDEX is looking for a Data Scientist SME to support the client ensuring adherence to CISA standard operating procedures, quality control standards, and best practices for analytical products and services. 

• Identify technological requirements and capability gaps to enable data science and database utilization and coordinating those requirements with capability providers. 
• Leverage large volumes of data to detect, predict, and mitigate cyber threats. 
• Utilize of algorithms, machine learning, and statistical models to analyze patterns and anomalies in data, providing insights that are not easily discernible through traditional methods. 
• Use data science to automate the analysis of security incidents, reducing response times; aggregate and analyze threat data to improve incident response strategies; extract actionable insights from large volumes of data within databases to understand emerging threats and vulnerabilities; and use historical data to predict future cyber threats and potential attack vectors, enabling proactive measures.
• Develop and document repeatable and effective processes for standard operating procedures (SOPs) and working instructions (WIs). 

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• 10+ years demonstrated analyzing data from multiple disparate sources to provide cybersecurity and privacy insight, designing and implementing custom algorithms, workflow processes, and layouts for complex, enterprise-scale data sets used for modeling, data mining, and research purposes. 
• Experience with AI/ML, statistical models and large datasets.

This position is contingent on contract award.
