Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Manager / Principal Engineer to join our team in supporting a large US Government program in the San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Program Managers are concerned with the overall planning, direction and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives which have great significance to the activities and agency's needs.
- Programs are typically large, multi-year efforts divided into several sub-programs/tasks.
- Program Managers are also responsible for the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short- and long-range plans.
- This includes the responsibility for formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach; and defining and negotiation with activity and agency personnel for necessary resources.
- Establishment and control of technical milestones, schedules, budgets and costs are also essential tasks for the Program Manager.
- Works closely with other program leaders, such as the Chief Engineer/Architect, to eliminate roadblocks to technical performance.
- Provide regular program status and innovative issue resolution to complex contract requirements, program operations and subcontract management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in leading and mentoring multiple teams, projects and/or large groups.
- 10+ years of experience on C4ISR projects with significant contributions in two or more cybersecurity/IA areas: CS/IA Compliance; Software Assurance and Security Engineering; Systems Security Architecture; Systems Security Analysis; Threat Analysis; Exploitation Analyses; Security Program Management.
- Experience in leading one or more of the following CS/IA areas: CS/IA engineering design efforts to solve current or potential Fleet issues; leading design and fielding of CA/IA technologies; leading or providing support to significant DoN and/or DoD CS/IA working groups.
- Three (3) years of experience is desired in Risk Management Framework (RMF), Navy RMF Process Guide, Information Assurance Technical Authority (IA TA) Standards including Defense-in-Depth Functional Implementation Architecture (DFIA); CYBERSAFE; and Navy Cyber Situational Awareness (NCSA)
- 6-8 years of experience in Cybersecurity workforce development and project management
- MS degree + Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP), and/or Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP) {and/or other advanced CS/IA security relevant certifications}.
Clearance Requirements:
- US Citizen
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
