What success looks like in this role:

Responsible for the identification, tracking and management of enterprise cyberalerts. This includes performing vulnerability assessments and measuring the success and effectiveness of mitigation efforts

• Identifies, evaluates, tests and alert appropriate security alerts to establish and ensure a secure infrastructure

• Articulates security policies, guidelines and standards to customers and developers.

• Able to apply basic theories, concepts, principles and methodologies to developmental assignments. Assignments given typically have developmental qualities.

• Evaluates, tests, recommends, develops, coordinates, monitors and maintains information systems (IS) and cyber security policies, procedures and systems, including access management for hardware, firmware and software. Identifies security risks and exposures, determines the causes of security violations and suggests procedures to halt future incidents and improve security.

• Develops techniques and procedures for conducting IS and cyber security risk assessments and compliance audits, the evaluation and testing of hardware, firmware and software for possible impact on system security, and the investigation and resolution of security incidents.

• Implements IS and cyber security policies and takes measures against intrusion, frauds, attacks or leaks.

Detailed:

Configure and manage the Exabeam SIEM system.

Integrate and manage log sources.

Analyze security events and alerts.

Investigate and respond to security incidents.

Develop and refine detection rules.

Optimize system performance.

Generate and maintain reports and documentation.

Collaborate with IT and security teams, and provide user support.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Must Have Skills

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Security, Networking, Technology and a minimum of 3 years' related experience or equivalent.

•Required Knowledge in SIEM Exabeam (2 or 3 years of experience).

• EXABEAM Certified

*Experience Leading cybersecurity process to manage client requests and leading security projects.

• Experience in correlation rules creation and security best practices and implementation.

• Ability to troubleshoot software issue and customer applications as required.

• Strives to achieve industry standard certifications: e.g; Security+, CEH, CIH, CCNA, Network+, Vulnerability tools.

• Proficient documentation skills are required.
