IT Security Engineer

We are looking for an IT Security Engineer with a real passion for privacy, security, and data protection to join our team. This position presents an exceptional opportunity to spearhead the development of the IT vertical within inFeedo’s Compliance and Security Team. This role goes beyond issue resolution, aiming to ensure an exceptional work experience for all inFolks by proactively addressing their needs. What will you be doing?

• IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee and manage the Company’s IT infrastructure like VPN, MDM, and DLP systems on Mac and Windows devices, as per the remote access policy.
  
• IT Resource Management: Manage IT requirements and coordinate with the vendor for a seamless asset flow. Track and manage Company IT inventory, and ensure the same is meeting the requirement.
  
• IT Security: Will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets and ensuring a robust security posture. Will be responsible for implementing and managing various security measures, including but not limited to mail security, DLP (Data Loss Prevention), MDR (Managed Detection and Response), device management, AWS (Amazon Web Services) security, Active Directory, Antivirus, VPN, network security, Incident Response, and Mac security.
  
• IT Support: Deliver comprehensive IT support and troubleshooting to assist employees, while staying updated about the latest industry advancements. Recommend and implement improved IT solutions, as needed.
  
• IT Documentation: Document IT processes, and standard procedures to create a knowledge base.
  
• User provisioning and de-provisioning: Employee device onboarding and offboarding, ensuring secure device handover between inFeedo and the employee.

Requirements

Is this you?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience working in IT roles, preferably in a similar capacity.
  
• Strong knowledge and experience in managing VPNs, MDM systems, and DLP solutions.
  
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  
• Solid understanding of IT and Security principles, OWASP top 10 and best security practices.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

Brownie Points

• Experience working at a growth-stage startup
• 3 to 5 years of total work experience in the IT domain, particularly in the Mac and AWS environment.
